In one book on church systems the author lists "The Evangelism System" second in his list of eight systems churches need to be healthy. He also says this system should cause you to ask the question, “How do we attract people to our church?”. We could argue about whether or not this is the right question but what I want to know is, do you have an intentional evangelism ministry in your church? If you do, how effective is it at preparing God's people to share the good-news of the kingdom of God, creating opportunities for those who don't claim to follow Jesus to see and hear the Gospel and do people actually make decisions to follow Jesus?
